Outreach

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40

Become part of Trinity’s mission to minister to those in need. Trinity provides opportunities both locally and beyond Bosque county for you to reach out with your time and gifts and make a caring difference for the sake of Christ.

 Locally, you may consider:

Trinity’s Christmas Angel Tree – your gifts will go to underprivileged children

Clifton Ministerial Alliance – your monetary donations from Trinity’s “noisy offering” collected during designated worship services, and your offering at special fundraisers such as Trinity's Reformation Concert last October will go to the Ministerial Alliance to meet local needs

Clifton Food Pantry and the Annual Bosque County Food Drive – Trinity collects purchased food items to feed those less fortunate than ourselves

Trinity’s Annual Garage Sale – your donated items support LifeLine devices for Trinity’s seniors

Attend one of our free monthly Blood Pressure Screenings, provided on first Sundays after worship

Support for the Summer Lunch Program – your donations may go toward bag lunches for Clifton’s underfed children; gifts are forwarded to the 2016 sponsoring congregations of First United Methodist and First Presbyterian Churches of Clifton

Benefit the ministry of Lutheran Sunset Ministries – In 2016 two quilts were donated to the LSM auction; also, you may consider volunteering your time with other Trinity members at the Pot ‘o Gold to benefit LSM’s residential care

And beyond Bosque County, you may consider:

Lutheran World Relief – members have the opportunity to donate school kits, layettes, and health kits to the underprivileged in other countries. In 2016 Trinity also sent 120 hand-made quilts

The Ronald MacDonald House in Temple – Trinity donated 20 quilts for infants and children this year

Benevolent support for the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Mission Area (NT-NL)

The Mission Endowment Fund of the NT-NL, assisting new mission congregations, supporting churches with exceptional potential but inadequate financial resources, and launching innovative projects with special promise for carrying out God’s work

Briarwood Retreat Center, a natural setting where people experience God’s love; people of all ages engage in Christian learning and grow in their faith
